Liposuction
Liposuction is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures for men and women in the world. Invented in 1974, liposuction was originally not for cosmetic purposes. It was only a few years later when it was presented as a highly effective method of body sculpting for the purposes of cosmetic enhancement. Liposuction is also called lipoplasty. Two popular methods offered at St.Petersburg Cosmetic Clinic include the tumescent technique and a procedure that utilizes the power of lasers. Also available is for Liposuction “Erchonia 4L” laser -this is the first and only low-level laser approved by the FDA for use during liposuction. The painless laser treatment is administered a few minutes prior to liposuction and works by liquefying the fat. As a result, fat removal is made easier and quicker. There is less post-op bruising and a speedier recovery time. In addition, because there is less pain experienced, less medication to alleviate the pain is involved.

Breast Augmentation and Breast Lift

Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is an elective cosmetic surgical procedure using breast implants. The procedure normally takes about 2 hours.Breast Lift surgery, or Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to lift thesagging droopy breast and give it a more aesthetic shape and position without altering the size. With breast lift surgery the nipple is elevated back to position and the rest of the extra skin is removed. There are different types of lifts available with different incision patterns. This should be discussed with a plastic surgeon in consult prior to surgery. The most common procedure involves an anchor-shaped incision and stitches are usually placed around the areola, in a vertical line extending downwards from the nipple area, and along the lower crease of the breast.

Tummy Tuck
Abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a "tummy tuck," is a major surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen. But bear in mind, it does produce a permanent scar, which, depending on the extent of the original problem and the surgery required to correct it, can extend from hip to hip.
“Tummy tucks” can be partial or complete. Some patients opt to undergo a partial tummy tuck, during which only the area below the navel is treated. A complete tummy tuck treats the entire abdominal area and is a more extensive procedure involving lengthy incisions as well as a longer operating and recovery time.
